Help the Beaver County Humane Society help homeless kittens, cats, dogs and puppies.  By coming to our upcoming events, you can have an enjoyable day or evening and help the shelter raise needed funds for general care and comfort of unwanted animals.  We hope to see you there!

COOKBOOK The Beaver County Humane Society’s “Bone Appetit Cookbook” is now available at the shelter.  Cost is $10.00.  Proceeds benefit the animals.

RABIES CLINICS Held from 12 – 3 P.M. at the Beaver County Humane Society shelter on the following Saturdays:  April 19 & May 17, 2008.  Cost is $10.00 per animal.  Animals must be 3 months of age or older and in a carrier or on a leash.

HOAGIE SALE    Freshly made 16” hoagies w/dressing for only $5.00!  Order forms are now available.  ORDERS and MONEY are DUE at the shelter by 5 P.M. on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30, 2008.  HOAGIES will be AVAILABLE for PICKUP the MORNING of WEDNESDAY, MAY 7, 2008.  Orders to offices or places of business for 12 or more hoagies can be delivered to your workplace in time for lunch.

CALENDAR RAFFLE     A raffle ticket based on the evening drawing of the PA daily lottery good for the month of June will be on sale during the months of April and May.  A second raffle ticket sold during September and October will be valid for every day in November.  Cost is $5.00 per ticket.

GARRISON DAY The Beaver County Humane Society will have a booth at Garrison Day on June 14, 2008.  Various items will be available for purchase.  Proceeds benefit the animals. 

PET PHOTO CONTEST Pictures will be on display Thursday through Saturday July 17-19, 2008 at the Beaver Valley Mall.  Cost is $5.00 to enter your favorite photo and votes may be cast for best picture for $.50 each.  Judging will take place Saturday evening July 19th.   Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in various categories.  Entry forms will be available in May.

 

AUTUMN PET WALK     This annual event on September 28, 2008 at Brady’s Run Park shelter 7 seeks to raise funds for the Beaver County Humane Society’s homeless animals by having walkers secure monetary pledges of support.  $45.00 in pledges earns a free commemorative T-shirt for each walker.  Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 pledge donors and 3 super prizes will be drawn from those walkers who have raised $100.00 or more.  Pledge sheets will be available at the shelter.  Registration opens at 11:00 A.M.. and the walk begins at 1:45 P.M..  There will be contests, displays, raffles and door prizes in addition to a leisurely walk through the park by animal lovers and their pets. Refreshments will be available

 

PET PHOTOS WITH SANTA   Saturday or Sunday in December (date to be determined) at the PETsMART at The Pointe in Robinson.
