In General, HACB selects tenants
who fall within income limits and who:
- Have a history of meeting financial obligations, especially rent or utilities
- Have demonstrated sound living and housekeeping habits and respect for family,
neighbors and property at previous residences
- Have no record of criminal activity and who are not a threat to the safety of people and
property
We take our communities seriously, so HACB will decline applicants
whose prior abuse of alcohol and/or illegal drugs may interfere with the health, safety or
well being of other residents. Also, we are unable to accept applicants who were
evicted from public housing within the last three years because of drug related criminal
activity.
Your application is the first step toward HACB housing, so it's
important that the information you submit is accurate. Also, to ensure HACB's full
consideration of your application, please contact us immediately if there is a change in
your address, phone number, family composition or income during the application process. |
